The holiday home had a private entrance, which made us feel like we were walking into our own little slice of paradise. The flat-screen TV provided the perfect entertainment after a long day of exploring, and having a washing machine was a game-changer – no more lugging around a bag of dirty clothes! Plus, the free private parking was a blessing, saving us the hassle of searching for a spot.

Curtains, not just blinds.

We recently stayed at Teach Nellie Cottage for a weekend getaway. Margaret, our host, was incredibly welcoming and even provided extra bedding for our large group of eight. The house itself is charming and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and a cozy atmosphere. The location in the heart of the village is perfect for exploring the beautiful Wild Atlantic Way and other nearby attractions in Donegal. We also enjoyed a delicious meal at the local pub, Casadh An TSugain. a fantastic experience and we hope to return in the future.

The cottage is located in a quiet cul-de-sac, within walking distance to a local shop and pub. the communication with the owner was excellent and they were quick to respond to any questions. the house was cleaned to a high standard and the beds were comfortable. the property is modern, spacious, and well-equipped, making it perfect for a group of 7 people. Having bedrooms on both the ground floor and upstairs was a plus, especially for those with mobility issues. the two bathrooms were also very welcome. the living room provided a fantastic space to relax and unwind after a long day. the accommodation is highly recommended for shorter or longer stays.
